Restoration Projects:
1964 Beach MK4 Sports Racer chassis #001
This project was a complete nut and bolt restoration. The steel tube frame was media blasted and powder coated. The aluminum panels were all hand formed. The fiberglass body was redone for better fitment with a new dash from scratch as well as polycarbonate windscreen. The engine is an 1100cc pushrod Ford with Weber carbs. The livery was designed to the clients specs on screen prior to clients approval.
1963 GSM Dart
GSM stands for Glass Port Motors, a S. African company that produced this car from 1958-1965. The restoration included complete chassis fab from scratch and removing the body for major fiberglass work. Engine is comprised of a Ford Kent block with massaged Cosworth head and specialty designed header. Twin Webers furnish the fuel. The car was completely sorted and competes strong on the National stage. Classic Motorsports Magazine ran a comprehensive article on this car in their Sept. 2012 issue.
